A new open-air gastronomic space on the Can Martí estate, surrounded by vineyards, in front of the family’s medieval farmhouse.

The Barbequiú Torelló has a large terrace where visitors to the winery can enjoy a succulent barbecue menu, with a gourmet touch, accompanied by the house’s DO Penedès wines and long-aged Corpinnat sparkling wines.

The experience begins with a visit to the family masia farmhouse, the cellar and underground caves, where the history of Torelló and the process of making Corpinnat wines and sparklings are taught and told. At the end of the event, you will go to the Barbequiú area, where you can enjoy a barbecue menu in the purest Torelló style. The musical ambience will round off the enotourism experience, which you know how it begins, but never how it ends.

During June and July Torelló took part in the first Corpinnat Gastronòmic festival, a cycle of activities in support of the restaurants industry and to help boost visits to the wineries and the region. Nine dinners were organised in the courtyard of the Can Martí family farmhouse, by different restaurants from all over Catalonia. The different chefs and their teams offered surprising menus, paired with Torelló wines and long-aged sparklings. In order to make the experience as complete as possible, the days began with a visit to the winery and cellars. In addition, the dinners were accompanied by live music from a deejay.

All the dinners were sold out, with more than 360 people enjoying the experience in Torelló. Given the success of this first edition, the family intends to continue with the initiative and invite other chefs and restaurants.

Torelló will be back in 2022 with new dinners and gastronomic events. If you want to sign up or receive more information, write to visites@torello.es
